Michael Altom

Michael Altom is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in operations and strategic leadership across various industries. Currently serving as COO at Granola since September 2025, Michael previously held multiple key roles at Faire, including Head of Strategy, Growth and Operations, International, and Head of Europe Growth and Operations from February 2022 to September 2025. Prior to Faire, Michael was Chief Operating Officer at Virtuo from June 2018 to May 2022, where responsibilities included directing cross-functional teams and P&L ownership across multiple markets. Michael’s career began at McKinsey & Company, where significant expertise was developed in go-to-market strategies and sales transformations from 2010 to 2017. Michael holds a Master’s degree in Computational and Applied Mathematics from École Polytechnique and an MS in Operations Research from Columbia Engineering.
