Grant Smith Law Practice was formed in July 1993. Following a number of changes, a merger with the Turriff based firm of Lyall & Wood, the acquisition of Messrs Alexander George & Co in 2006, and the acquisition of The Cruickshank Law Practice in 2020, the company is presently led by Stuart Beveridge, Andrew Duthie, Hilary Macandrew, Margaret Nash and Matthew O'Neill.

The partners are supported by a dedicated team of qualified assistants, paralegals, property assistants and support staff.
