James Kent is an Automation and MES Engineer with a focus on developing MES systems, SCADA/HMI, and utilizing Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services. They possess extensive experience with various SCADA systems and specialize in integrating software to create customized MES solutions. Previously, James worked as a Design Intern at Millard Oakley STEM Center and progressed through various engineering roles at Vertech, Logan Aluminum, and Grantek, leading projects in process automation and MES design. They are currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Tennessee Technological University.
