Neil Simpson

Neil Simpson's work experience began in 2003 as a Controls Engineer at General Motors, where they remained until 2009. In 2010, they worked as a Demand Forecasting Improvement Intern at STEMCELL Technologies. Neil then returned to General Motors in 2011 as a Manufacturing Engineer until 2014. Neil joined Grantek in 2014 and held various roles, including Systems/Electrical Engineer from 2014 to 2016, Manager Client Solutions from 2016 to 2018, and Engineering Manager at Grantek Systems Integration from 2018 to 2020. Neil is currently serving as the Senior Engineering Manager at Grantek.

Neil Simpson completed their education in a chronological order. Neil first attended Queen's University from 1998 to 2003, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering. After that, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from The University of British Columbia from 2009 to 2011, focusing on Supply Chain & IT Management. In 2022, Neil participated in the Leadership Development Program at the Center for Creative Leadership, specializing in Organizational Leadership. In addition to their academic qualifications, Neil also received certifications as a Professional Engineer from Professional Engineers Ontario in June 2009 and from the Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of BC (APEG) in May 2015.
