David Stubbs

David Stubbs is an accomplished Chief Systems Software Architect at Graphcore, with extensive experience in system software development. Since joining Graphcore in July 2015, David has played a pivotal role in enhancing the company's system software, particularly through collaborations with Microsoft for the integration of Graphcore's PCIe cards into Azure and working with vendors to streamline testing processes. As one of the first employees at Graphcore, David significantly contributed to the initial toolchain and instruction-level simulator for the company’s first processor. Prior to Graphcore, David held positions at NVIDIA, Icera Semiconductor, ClearSpeed, and SN Systems, where contributions spanned SDK development, software model implementation for SoC peripherals, and the design of programming tools, thereby developing a diverse skill set in software engineering and optimization across various platforms and architectures.
