Michael Pearce is an AI Research Scientist currently working at Graphcore since 2025. They hold a PhD in Operations Research from the University of Warwick, where they also completed a Master's degree in Complexity Science. Michael has previously interned as a Research Scientist at DeepMind and Uber AI Labs, contributing to projects involving deep learning and Bayesian optimization. Prior to their research career, Michael served as a Mathematics Tutor and a Computer Lab Supervisor at the University of Warwick.
