Sylvain Viguier

Sylvain Viguier's work experience began in 2008 as a Web Developer for LeadingFrog. In 2011, they worked as a Junior Consultant for Solucom before joining Qualcomm as a Software Engineer in 2012. Sylvain then became the Head of Technology at Entia Ltd from 2015 to 2017. From 2013 to 2018, Sylvain worked as a Research Associate at University College London. In 2017, they joined Zühlke Group as a Senior Software Consultant. Currently, Sylvain is employed at Graphcore, starting as an AI Engineer in 2019 and progressing to AI Team Lead in 2021. Sylvain is currently serving as the Director of AI since January 2022. At Graphcore, Sylvain has contributed to the open-source models library and achieved class-leading performance in training models on IPU cards.

Sylvain Viguier completed their MSc in Telecommunications and Signal Processing at ESIEE PARIS from 2005 to 2011. In 2009, they also pursued an ERASMUS program at Brunel University London, earning an additional MSc in Wireless Communications. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including Advanced Machine Learning with TensorFlow on Google Cloud Platform, TensorFlow in Practice Specialization, and Neural Networks and Deep Learning from Coursera. Sylvain also has certifications in various other areas related to machine learning and statistical inferences from Coursera and Google Cloud Platform.
