Tim Santos

Tim Santos has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Tim is currently working at Graphcore as the Director of Product, AI Cloud Solutions. Prior to this, they held the position of Director, Developer Relations at Graphcore where they were responsible for developer enablement and success, academic collaborations, and developer community. Tim has also worked as a Visiting Fellow at ZINC and an Advisor at Swarm. In addition, they have served as an Ambassador at Tech Nation. Before these positions, they worked at EY as an Assistant Director, Senior Data and AI Scientist in Client Technology AI, where they led a team of data scientists and ML engineers and managed delivery of AI solutions for financial services. Tim also worked as a Research and Teaching Assistant at Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University Affiliated School. Tim's experience includes working as a Lead Data Scientist at Teradata, where they advised and managed delivery of AI solutions across various sectors. Tim was also a Lead Data Scientist and founding team member at Veuta. Prior to this, they worked at Samsung Electronics as a Senior Staff Research Engineer, contributing to the design and development of cutting-edge technologies. Tim began their career as a Researcher at the University of the Philippines Digital Signal Processing Laboratory, where they worked on multidisciplinary research projects.

Tim Santos has a Master of Research in Computer Science with a specialization in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Liverpool and Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University. Tim also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from the University of the Philippines Diliman. Additionally, Tim has completed various certifications including Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Engineer Associate, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure 2019 Certified Architect Associate, Microsoft Certified Professional: Azure Fundamentals Cloud Infrastructure, and more.
