Paul Widdop

Paul Widdop is an experienced technology leader with a strong background in software engineering and platform development. Currently serving as the Head of Platform Engineering and Director of Software Engineering at Graphiant since January 2021, Paul focuses on next-generation networking-as-a-service solutions while leading global platform engineering development and quality assurance efforts. Prior to this role, Paul held significant positions at AT&T as a Principal Engineer for Vyatta, where responsibilities included designing hardware and software for 4G and 5G networks, and at Brocade as a Group Engineering Manager for Vyatta, where Paul led teams in creating industry-leading SDN and NFV platforms. Paul's extensive career also includes roles at Cisco, where leadership encompassed core software development for the European IOS/IOS-XR engineering teams and various managerial responsibilities related to network security and technical marketing. Paul began their career as a Senior Software Engineer at ioko and has a Master's degree in Mathematics and Software Engineering from the University of Oxford.
