Katy Stone

Katy Stone is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in intelligence production, editing, and translation. Currently serving as the Director of Intelligence Production at Graphika since October 2021, Katy has previously held several key editorial positions at The New Arab, including Commissioning Opinion Editor (US) and Sub Editor for features and opinion. Katy also worked as a freelance digital content specialist, translator, and editor, contributing to various publications and organizations, including Front Line Defenders. Educational qualifications include a Master's Degree in Translation and Interpreting from the University of Westminster, a Bachelor's Degree in French Studies from the University of Birmingham, and leadership training from the Poynter Institute. Additionally, Katy has experience teaching English at the Université de Toulouse II and continues to enhance skills through ongoing professional development.
