Jacob Gold

Jacob Gold is a dedicated software engineer with extensive experience in engineering roles at leading technology companies. As a Founding Engineer at Graphite since February 2022, Jacob focuses on enhancing the efficiency of software engineering teams. Prior to this, Jacob contributed to Meta's messaging infrastructure from January 2020 to February 2022, working on backend data processing frameworks for Facebook Messenger and Instagram Direct. Jacob's early career includes substantial roles at Meta as a part-time software engineer and intern, alongside positions as a course assistant at Columbia University, where Jacob also completed a Master of Science in Computer Science specializing in machine learning. Jacob's technical foundation is complemented by a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics and Computer Science from Columbia University and formative experiences leading innovative projects during internships at Oath and other organizations.
