Alejandro Ramirez

Alejandro Ramirez has extensive work experience in the field of antibody discovery and engineering. Alejandro is currently a Director of Antibody Engineering at Graphite Bio since January 2023. Prior to this, they worked at 3T Biosciences as an Associate Director from March 2022 to January 2023, and as a Principal Scientist in Protein Engineering from August 2020 to March 2022. Before joining 3T Biosciences, Alejandro worked at Pfizer as a Principal Scientist in Antibody Discovery and Engineering from December 2019 to May 2020, and as a Senior Scientist in the same field from April 2016 to December 2019. Alejandro also has experience as a Principal Scientist in Antibody Discovery at MilliporeSigma from April 2014 to April 2016. Alejandro's work history also includes positions as a Post Doctoral Fellow at The Scripps Research Institute from June 2011 to April 2014, and at New York University from 2009 to June 2011. Alejandro started their career as a Graduate Fellow at Weill Cornell Graduate School of Medical Sciences from 2004 to 2009, and as a Research Technician at the University of California, San Francisco from 2002 to 2004.

Alejandro Ramirez completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Molecular, Cell and Developmental Biology at the University of California, Santa Cruz from 1997 to 2002. Alejandro then pursued further education at the Weill Cornell Graduate School of Medical Sciences, where they obtained their Ph.D in Biochemistry, Cell, and Molecular Biology from 2004 to 2009.
