Dr. Michael Behrisch is an accomplished academic and industry professional with extensive experience in visual analytics and technology. Currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer and Founder of GraphPolaris since December 2020, Dr. Behrisch also holds the position of Assistant Professor for Visual Analytics at Utrecht University from November 2019. Prior to these roles, Dr. Behrisch was a Postdoctoral Researcher at Tufts University and a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Harvard University. The academic journey includes a Doctoral Researcher role at Universität Konstanz, where Dr. Behrisch earned a PhD in Computer Science. Earlier career experience includes business analyst positions at T-Systems and Detecon Inc. USA, complemented by strong educational foundations in computer science, information engineering, and business analysis.
