Wilder Lopes

Wilder Lopes is the Chief Architect of ML at GraphStax. Prior to this, they were an Entrepreneur-in-Residence at Octopus Ventures where they incubated and invested in early stage deep tech companies. Wilder has also worked as an Applied Scientist at UCit, where they research and developed machine-learning algorithms for optimization of High-Performance Computing (HPC) systems. In their previous role as a Research Engineer at Thales Research and Technology - INFIERI, they designed artificial-intelligence algorithms for data partitioning in high performance computing platforms composed by heterogeneous devices (CPUs and GPUs).

Wilder Lopes has a Doctor of Science (D.Sc.) in Electronics Engineering from Universidade de São Paulo, a M.Sc. in Electronics Engineering from Universidade de São Paulo, and a B.Sc. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Universidade Federal da Bahia.

Wilder Lopes reports to Barney Pell, President. A direct report to Wilder Lopes is and Jacob Friedman - Architect. They are on a team with Arun Majumdar - CTO, Windyjoy Majumdar - COO.
