Vassil Momtchev

Vassil Momtchev currently serves as SVP of Product & Technology at Graphwise, where the focus is on leveraging AI to transform knowledge into a sustainable asset while minimizing associated risks. Prior to this role, Vassil was the CTO at Ontotext from May 2005 to September 2024, specializing in software that tackles complex business challenges through domain-specific intelligence, and held various positions including Data Management and Products Director and Solution Architect. Vassil's career began at Metalife AG as the Head of Software Development and included a leadership role at FTS Global in Bulgaria. Vassil's academic credentials encompass a master's degree in Information Systems from Sofia University and a bachelor’s degree in Organic Technologies and Chemical Informatics from Himiko-tehnologièen i metalurgièen universitet, supplemented by executive education programs at Cambridge Judge Business School and MIT Sloan.
