Simon Hällqvist co-founded GRASP in 2019 and served as the Chief Technology Officer. Prior to that, they worked at Ericsson from September 2018 to February 2019 as an Automation & AI Consultant, and from June 2018 to August 2018 as an Automation & AI Summer Intern. Simon also worked at Chalmers Teknologkonsulter AB from November 2017 to May 2018, where they held the role of IT Project Manager and Junior Consultant. Simon worked as a Teaching Assistant for Java programming at Chalmers University of Technology from January 2018 to March 2018. Simon was the Head of Event at I-dagen at I-Armar from January 2017 to November 2017. Additionally, they worked at Axfood as a Logistics Planner (Summer Intern) from June 2017 to August 2017.

Simon Hällqvist's education history demonstrates a strong focus on various fields of study. In 2012, they began their higher education journey at the Stockholm School of Economics, where they pursued a B.Sc. in Business and Economics. After completing this program in 2013, they further expanded their academic horizons by enrolling in a B.Sc. in Economics at the School of Business, Economics and Law at the University of Gothenburg, which they successfully completed in 2016. Simultaneously, they embarked on a B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering, specializing in Computer Science at Chalmers University of Technology. This program occupied their attention until 2019. During this time, Simon also pursued a Master of Science (MS) in Machine Learning at the esteemed KTH Royal Institute of Technology, where they engaged in academic endeavors from 2019 to 2020.
