Rui Santos

Rui Santos is an experienced FPGA Developer currently at Grasshopper since September 2016, with prior roles including Embedded Systems Engineer and Researcher at the National University of Singapore from March 2013 to September 2016, where Rui created specifications and developed prototypes for brain-computer interfaces and nano-satellite applications. Rui's earlier experience includes a position as a Professor at the National University of East-Timor and as an Embedded Systems Engineer at the University of Aveiro, where projects focused on real-time Ethernet switch prototypes and low-latency communication. Rui has strong expertise in Embedded Systems, FPGAs, Hardware/Software co-design, and related technical skills including VHDL and TCP/IP. Rui holds a PhD and a Licentiate degree in Computer Engineering and Computer and Telematics Engineering, respectively, from Universidade de Aveiro.
