TJ Beary, MBA, MST, EA, CPA, is a Tax Partner at Grassi, leading the State and Local Tax (SALT) and Tax Controversy Practices. Based in Chelmsford, TJ has two decades of experience in state and local tax, specializing in strategic advisory, tax operations, and controversy resolution. Prior to joining Grassi, TJ served as a Partner in Specialty Tax at Baker Tilly and held senior management roles at prominent firms including EY and Deloitte. TJ has been recognized for building high-performing teams and implementing innovative tax solutions, and has maintained professional credentials as an Enrolled Agent since 2013 and a CPA since 2018. TJ earned a Master of Science in Taxation from Bentley University.
