The Grassland Centre Lower Saxony/Bremen e.V. develops innovative concepts for sustainable agriculture on grassland. To this end, the Grassland Centre gathers experts from agriculture, science, water management, nature conservation and environmental protection, the dairy industry, politics and administration on a national and international level. 

The mission includes 
- jointly developing viable solutions for more sustainable economic growth in the grassland regions 
- reducing existing land competition 
- preserving the special cultural landscape
- knowledge transfer
