Jose Ortiz

Jose Ortiz has a diverse work experience. Jose started their career as a Writing Tutor at the Writing Center @ Homer Babbidge Library from September 2015 to May 2018. From September 2017 to May 2018, they worked as a Communications Intern at the Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life. In April 2016, they joined Max Catering as a Bartender and worked there until June 2018. From September to November 2018, they had the role of Lead Photographer at G&B Photography. Subsequently, from February 2019 to June 2021, they worked at Apple as an Operational Specialist. Concurrently, from the same period, they served as a Design Mentor at the Hartford Public Library. Currently, since July 2021, they are employed as a Junior Graphic Designer at GRAV®.

Jose Ortiz has a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Graphic Design from the University of Connecticut. Additionally, they participated in a study abroad program in Graphic Design at Central Saint Martins, University of The Arts London in 2017. In 2015, Jose obtained a Leadership Certificate Series from the UConn Center for Career Development, specifically, The Student Leadership Challenge certification.
