Matthew Norris, CFA has an extensive work experience in the finance and investment industry. Matthew is currently the Head of Real Estate Securities at Gravis, where they serve as a REIT investor and portfolio manager for various funds. Prior to joining Gravis, Matthew worked as a Global REIT Investor at a Family Investment Office. Matthew also served as the Lead Governor at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children NHS Foundation Trust and as an Executive Director and Portfolio Manager at Grosvenor Group. Matthew's previous experience includes roles at Fulcrum Asset Management, Buttonwood Capital Partners, Credit Suisse, Lehman Brothers, and Columbia Threadneedle Investments EMEA APAC.
Matthew Norris, CFA obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A. Hons) degree in Economics & Politics from the University of York, where they studied from 1991 to 1994. In addition to their undergraduate education, they have acquired several certifications throughout their career. Matthew completed the Investment Management Certificate (IMC) from CFA UK in October 1995 and obtained the SFA Registered Persons Certificate from the Securities & Futures Authority in 1996. Moreover, they achieved the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation from CFA Institute in September 2000. Lastly, Matthew marked a milestone in their professional development by completing the CFA Institute Continuing Education Program for 10 years in September 2010.
