Chris Freeman has over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry. Chris began their career in 2001 as Head of Sales & Marketing at OMX Technology, where they led a team responsible for selling front, middle and back office technology solutions to financial services firms. In 2008, they moved to Dealogic as Global Sales Director, managing a team responsible for sales of SaaS solutions to investment banks. In 2009, they took on the role of Business Development - Major Accounts at eClerx, where they were responsible for doubling revenue across four major investment banks. From 2011 to 2012, they were Sales Director at Pershing, a BNY Mellon Company, and Senior Business Development Director at SEI. In 2014, they became Global Account Director at ITRS, providing real-time insight into the end-to-end health, performance and capacity of business transaction workflow. In 2017, they joined BMC Software as Account Director, TrueSight - Digital Service Operations. In 2019, they moved to VMware Tanzu as Client Director. In 2021, they became Head of Sales at Cygnetise, where they enabled organisations to easily manage their governance material whilst decreasing the risk of fraud. Most recently, in 2022, they joined Gravitee.io as Enterprise Account Director, helping organisations unify APIs into an easy-to-use and secure space.

Chris Freeman began their educational journey in 1978 when they attended Chichester High School until 1985. Chris then attended Chichester College of Technology from 1983-1985, where they completed their A Levels. Chris then went on to London South Bank University from 1985-1989, where they earned their BSc (Hons) in Computer Science.
