Anthony joined Gravity Renewables as an original member in 2012 currently serving as the Director of Operations of Gravity’s hydropower facilities. Before Gravity, as a fourth-generation underground construction contractor, Anthony managed several multimillion-dollar projects including the construction of deep shaft excavations, flow diversions, hand-mined tunnels, cofferdams, and flow control structures. His obsession with hydropower began shortly after visiting a small hydropower plant in 2008 after which he began developing his portfolio of new hydropower projects in the Midwest. He quickly learned to navigate the hydropower regulatory process and obtained his first hydropower license for a 700 KW project in Ohio. Anthony has a passion for hydropower analytics having performed a large volume of resource and feasibility assessments. He recently developed a unique system that evaluates Gravity plant performance based on available water in real-time and helps identify and quantify efficiencies that can be made at each facility. Many of these efficiencies have been implemented and are currently producing incremental energy and/or cost savings at Gravity facilities. He enjoys getting his hands dirty in the field and working side by side with his operators and crew members. Anthony received a Masters's degree from the University of Denver.
