Michael Decker

Michael Decker is a seasoned research professional with extensive experience in economic analysis and policy research. Currently serving as Senior Research Director at Gravity Research since July 2023, Michael previously held the title of Research Director at National Journal from February 2022 to July 2023, as well as Research Director and Senior Research Analyst at Stand Together from January 2017 to January 2022. Earlier roles include Senior Research Analyst and Policy Associate at Freedom Partners Chamber of Commerce and Public Notice respectively, focusing on fiscal policy, healthcare costs, and government regulations. Michael began a career in research as a Policy Intern at Hamilton Place Strategies and gained initial experience as an intern in the Office of Representative Jack Kingston. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from The George Washington University and a Master of Science in Applied Economics from the University of Maryland.
