Shawn Chen

Shawn Chen has a diverse work experience in web engineering and frontend development. Shawn most recently worked as a Web Engineer at Gravity Sketch starting in May 2023. Prior to that, they worked at OneDegree as a Senior Frontend Engineer from April 2021 to April 2023. Before that, they were a Senior Frontend Developer at PopDaily 波波萝的异想世界 where they led the development of the main website using Next.js and mentored a team of three frontend developers from March 2020 to April 2021. Shawn also worked as a Frontend Web Developer at inline Apps 楠排 from August 2018 to March 2020, where they played a lead role in developing patron-facing websites using React.js and was responsible for release management. Additionally, they worked as a Frontend Engineer at Tixguru and eKoPro Solutions Inc., where they developed product websites using React.js and Redux, collaborated with backend engineers for automatic deployment, and enforced code reviews to improve software quality.

Shawn Chen earned a Bachelor's degree in Engineering Science from National Cheng Kung University between the years 2011 and 2014.
