Shawn Lee

Shawn Lee is an accomplished animator with extensive experience in the animation industry, including roles at Pixar Animation Studios as an Animator from August 2021 to October 2023, contributing to notable feature films such as "Inside Out 2," "Elemental," and "Lightyear," as well as the Disney Plus series "Win or Lose." As the Founder and Mentor at KYOSIL since May 2019, Shawn has fostered growth among aspiring animators through mentorship programs and hands-on feedback. Previous positions include Animator at Walt Disney Animation Studios, where projects included "Ralph Breaks the Internet," "Frozen 2," and "Encanto," and Animator roles at The Third Floor, Inc. and Blur Studio, with additional expertise in virtual reality projects and collaboration across disciplines. Currently, Shawn serves as a Senior Animator at Gravity Well, focusing on an unannounced IP and driving animation standards and efficiency within the team. Shawn holds a Bachelor of Science in Character Animation from Southern Adventist University and completed a 3D Animation program at Animschool.
