Our company name is derived from the Norwegian polar researcher Roald Engelbregt Gravning Amundsen. Roald E. Gravning Amundsen and his team were the first to reach the South Pole on 14.12.1911. The unusual way of this South Pole conquest reflects the way of working and thinking that defines us as "Team Gravning".
We have the courage to " think outside the box", to look at things from a different perspective and to explore and find new approaches to solutions. For us, banking has no rigid boundaries, it is a function and not an industry, and is defined by the symbiosis of the classic banking world, the need for money transfer and the digitalisation forced by new business models. Our slogan "The Banking Explorers" is dedicated to this definition of banking.
As Banking Explorer, we explore new ways with our clients and draw on the extensive experience and skills of our advisors. As members of joint expedition teams, we work with our clients on new challenges and pave the way to a successful conclusion of the projects.
In addition to the "classic" topics of the financial services industry, our definition of banking also includes the transfer of these "classic" banking topics to other industries and the application of essential cross-sectional topics such as digitalization and new work in banking. In keeping with our patron saint's name, we are always ready and able to take unconventional paths and react flexibly to changing conditions and objectives.
