Johnny Corbin

Johnny Corbin has worked in the field of network engineering for over 20 years, with experience at various companies. Johnny currently serves as a Network Engineer at Gray Analytics, a position they took on in December 2022. Prior to this, Johnny worked at Integration Innovation, Inc. from 2017 to 2022, where they held the roles of Information Technology Manager and Lead Network Engineer. Before that, they worked as a Network Engineer III at Vista Technical Services, LLC from 2015 to 2017 and at Alutiiq from 2014 to 2015. Johnny also has experience at Black Box, Exelis, Ericsson, Sprint Nextel, NEXTEL COMMUNICATIONS INC, and WorkNET Communications, where they held various technician roles.

Johnny Corbin has a diverse education history with a focus on information technology and network operations. In 2022, they earned a Master of Science (MS) degree in Information Technology Management from Western Governors University. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Network Operations and Security from the same institution, graduating between 2018 and 2021.

Johnny also pursued further education at Northwest Shoals Community College-Muscle Shoals in 1993, where they studied General Studies. Additionally, they attended the University of North Alabama in 1992 and 1993, focusing on Computer Science.

In addition to their academic degrees, Johnny has acquired several certifications throughout their career. In 2020, they obtained the Linux Essentials certification from the Linux Professional Institute. In 2019, they obtained the CompTIA Project+, IT Information Library Foundations Certification (ITIL), and CompTIA Cloud Essentials Certification. Further certifications include the Accredited Configuration Engineer (ACE) from Palo Alto Networks in 2018, CompTIA A+ in 2021, and CompTIA Network+ in 2021. Johnny also holds the CompTIA Security+ ce Certification from 2012.

Johnny has expertise in networking and design with certifications such as the Cisco Certified Design Associate (CCDA) in 2020, Cisco Certified Network Associate Routing and Switching (CCNA) in 2013, and CCNA Voice also in 2013.
