Brett Goode

Senior Vice President, South Atlantic Office at Gray

Brett began his career as an intern with Gray in 1997 with the first class of company interns. Upon his graduation from Eastern Kentucky University (EKU) with a B.S. in Construction Management, he was hired full time as a field engineer on the Gap jobsite in Gallatin, TN. He has risen through the ranks of the company through his technical skills, tenacity, enthusiasm, and his ability to connect with people. Brett’s roles have included assistant project manager, project manager, senior project manager, project director, regional manager, vice president, and currently, senior vice president in Charlotte, NC. He also serves on the EKU board of directors.

In January 2014, Brett relocated his family to Charlotte, NC as the regional manager for Gray’s newest regional office. Brett welcomed the opportunity to take on the leadership role and began cultivating project opportunities and building a team that continues to expand! Due to the significant growth, in 2018, the South Atlantic team moved to a new and expanded office in Uptown Charlotte.

In 2017, Brett was named a distinguished alumni award of EKU for his leadership and achievements in construction management.

Brett’s contributions have been instrumental in the sale and execution of many core projects over the last several years, including Volvo Car US Operations, Electrolux, Jushi USA, and Michelin North America, Inc. Brett has developed new relationships and embedded Gray into the fabric of the Charlotte community with charitable events such as the Kidney Foundation.

When he’s not working, Brett enjoys devoting his time to the National Kidney Foundation, aviation, and spending time with his family.
