Jose Rodriguez

Jose Rodriguez has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and companies. Jose began their career in 2013 as an HVAC Mechanic at Tri Star Mechanical. In 2014, they worked as a Student Worker at the University of Mississippi while simultaneously starting their role as a Project Manager Trainee at Cives Steel Company. At Cives Steel Company, their responsibilities included estimating the cost of steel fabrication for large industrial projects, field work to assist in solutions for delayed steel construction, and managing multiple contracts and subcontracts. In 2017, Jose worked as a Staff Engineer at PENTA Engineering Group, Inc., before transitioning to Steel, LLC in 2018. At Steel, LLC, they held the positions of Project Engineer and Project Manager. As a Project Engineer, they maintained project production on budget and on schedule, reviewed shop drawings and product data for compliance, and monitored production processes. Jose was later promoted to Assistant Project Manager in 2023 at Gray.

Jose Rodriguez attended the University of Mississippi from 2011 to 2015, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. Jose also earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) during their time at the university, majoring in Mechanical Engineering and Spanish Language and Literature respectively.
