Richard G. has a diverse work experience that spans over several years. In 2010, they started working at Green Mechanical Construction, Inc. as an estimator/assistant project manager and stayed in that role until 2012. From 2013 to 2014, they worked as a project engineer at Gray Construction. In 2014, they briefly worked as a field engineer at Denham & Blythe.
Richard then joined Green Mechanical Construction, Inc. again in 2018, this time as an assistant project manager. In 2020, they transitioned to the role of Assistant Project Manager MEP at Gray.
Additionally, Richard has had volunteer experience as a firefighter at the Versailles Fire Department starting from 2017. Richard has also served as a Staff Sergent in the Kentucky Army National Guard since 2006.
Richard G. obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Construction Management from Eastern Kentucky University, where they studied from 2008 to 2011. Prior to that, they attended Western Kentucky University from 2005 to 2008, also for Construction Management, although they did not obtain a degree from there. Richard completed their secondary education at Lexington Christian Academy from 2001 to 2005. In addition to their formal education, Richard has obtained several certifications throughout their career. Richard became OSHA 30 certified in September 2013. In September 2017, they obtained a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association and became an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) through KBEAMS. In May 2018, Richard obtained Firefighter I & II certifications from IFSAC. Richard also holds various Procore certifications, including Project Manager in Construction Financials, Core Tools, Field Productivity, Project Management, Quality & Safety. These certifications were obtained in November 2018. Most recently, in February 2019, Richard obtained a Procore Certification as a Subcontractor.
