Prior to that, they worked as a Recruiting Coordinator at Integrated Financial Holdings, Inc. for one year, where they collaborated with hiring managers to understand positions and improve recruitment support. Before that, they served as a Benefits Specialist at GCG Financial, LLC for one year, where they generated COBRA notifications and assisted with the open enrollment process. Vanessa also worked as an HR Corporate Recruiter at Fernandez Management for almost two years, where they supported HR Manager and Executive Officers in administrative duties and attended career fairs. Vanessa began their career as an HR Assistant/Recruiting at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs for three years, followed by a role as a Customer Service Representative at Kohl's for two and a half years.

Vanessa P. completed their education in a sequential manner. Vanessa first attended Coastline College and obtained an Associate of Arts - AA degree in 2014. Vanessa then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management and Services at the University of Maryland Global Campus, graduating in 2017.
