Project Manager at Gray

Zeke Walters has a diverse work experience in the fields of project management, coal mining, and student roles. Zeke started their career at Alliance Coal, LLC in 2009, where they worked as a Mining Engineering Intern, Management Intern, and later as a Management Trainee. In 2016, they joined Gray as a Field Engineer and gradually worked their way up to Assistant Site Manager and Assistant Project Manager. Currently, they hold the position of Project Manager at Gray, starting in November 2022. Zeke also pursued their education during this time, attending the University of Kentucky as a student from 2008 to 2014.

Zeke Walters attended the University of Kentucky from 2008 to 2014, where they studied Business Administration and Management and earned a degree in Business Management. In addition to their formal education, they received several certifications. In 2009, they became a Certified Experienced Underground Miner from the Commonwealth of Kentucky Office of Mine Safety and Licensing. In 2013, they obtained a Microsoft certification. In 2015, they became a Certified Kentucky Underground Mine Foreman from the Commonwealth of Kentucky Office of Mine Safety and Licensing. Zeke also has an OSHA 30 certification, although it is unclear from which institution they obtained it and the exact date.
