David A. Bender

David Bender has over 30 years of work experience in the electrical distribution industry. David has been with Graybar since 1988, starting as a Management Trainee and then progressing through various sales and managerial roles. David has held positions such as Sales Representative, Customer Service Representative, Sales Manager, and National Product Manager. More recently, they have served as District Vice President, Vice President-Business Performance, and currently holds the role of Regional Vice President at Graybar.

David Bender has a bachelor's degree in Management from West Virginia University, which they obtained from 1983 to 1987. In 2004 and 2005, they earned a certificate in Supply Chain Management from Rutgers University - Camden. In 2013, they completed an Executive Education program in Leading Change and Organizational Renewal from Stanford University Graduate School of Business. In 2014, David attended the Director's Consortium at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business Executive Education. In 2017, they furthered their education by participating in the Audit Committees in a New Era of Governance program at Harvard Business School Executive Education. Currently, they are enrolled in The Advanced Management Program at The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, which they started in 2021.
