Alexis King

Alexis King has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. They started their career as an English Language Assistant at Lycee Victor Hugo, where they assisted teachers in a French secondary school in teaching English to students aged 16-18. They then interned at Plan International UK as a Sponsor Communications Intern, where they gained experience in volunteer work.

Later, Alexis worked at Bolivian Express as an Intern, contributing to an English-language cultural magazine in Bolivia. They conducted research, interviews, and public opinion polling for articles published in the magazine.

They then joined Lodestone Communications as an Intern and later worked as an Account Executive. In this role, they gained experience in client account management and executed various communications projects.

Alexis's career then led them to the Railway Industry Association, where they started as a PR and Communications Executive, supporting the organization's public affairs and PR efforts. They were subsequently promoted to the position of Senior Public Affairs & PR Executive, responsible for representing member interests to governments and politicians.

Afterward, Alexis joined Lib Dems in Comms as a Committee Member, contributing to the communication efforts of the Liberal Democrats party.

Currently, Alexis works at Grayling as an Account Manager (Public Affairs), and they will be transitioning into the role of Senior Account Manager in 2023.
