Nicholas L. has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Nicholas started their career in 2011 as an Assistant Account Executive at FleishmanHillard. In 2011, they also worked as a Media Analyst at Insight Matrix. From 2012 to 2015, Nicholas served as a Senior Client Executive at Edelman, where they led communications strategies for clients such as Samsung, Starbucks, and Johnnie Walker. During their time at Edelman, they received accolades for their work, including winning the Consumer Launch of the Year at PR Week Asia 2014.

In 2015, Nicholas joined honestbee as a Regional PR Manager. Nicholas then transitioned to Citizen Relations in 2017, where they worked as a Manager, APAC. In 2018, they joined HMD Global as the Head of Communications, APAC, responsible for all strategic communications across the APAC region. In this role, they developed and implemented globally-aligned communication plans, oversaw PR agencies in multiple markets, and served as the crisis communications lead.

After their stint at HMD Global, Nicholas returned to Citizen Relations in 2019 as the APAC Lead. Nicholas was responsible for leading and managing the APAC region for the company. In 2020, they joined Grayling as an Associate Director, and subsequently held the roles of Director and Global Client Lead, starting from January 2022.

Nicholas L. obtained a Diploma in Chinese Media Studies from Ngee Ann Polytechnic, where they studied from 2005 to 2008.
