Adam "Abe" Abernethy has an extensive work experience. Adam "Abe" 🤘 started in 2006 with the Canadian Armed Forces as an IS Special Projects / Asset Manager NCO, where they were responsible for manufacturing wizard cloaks and hunting Yeti. In 2014, they joined the City of Oshawa as a Network Security Manager and IT Security Specialist, where they were responsible for keeping the lights blinking. In 2019, they joined Durham College as a Contract Faculty. Adam "Abe" 🤘 also joined Municipal Information Systems Association, Ontario (MISA Ontario) as Central Region Director, and Blueteam Ninja Secure Solutions Inc. as Founding Director (Chief Ninja). In 2020, they joined Graylog, Inc. as Director of Professional Services and Training Engineer.

Adam "Abe" Abernethy obtained their High School Diploma in Business Technology from Vincent Massey High School between 1998 and 2002. Adam "Abe" 🤘 has also obtained several certifications, including CISSP from (ISC)2, FCNSP from Fortinet, GCCC from the SANS Institute, GIAC Critical Controls Certification from GIAC, Windows Server 2016 Networking from Microsoft, and Wireshark Certified Network Analyst from Wireshark University.
