Annie Zempel has been working in the field of technical writing and knowledge management for several years. In 2021, they began working at Graylog, Inc. as a Technical Documentation Manager and Technical Writer. Prior to that, they worked at Leidos as a Knowledge Manager and Technical Writer for N2NOMS (2020), at S4 Inc. as a Technical Writer and Knowledge Management Specialist for N2ITSM (2019), and as a Freelance Copyeditor and Technical Writer (2017). In 2016, they were a Professor of Composition at Pikes Peak Community College, and from 2014-2016 they were a Professor of English at James Irwin Charter Schools. In 2013, they were an Editorial Assistant at Eighteenth-Century Life and a Research and Instruction Assistant at the University of Wyoming Libraries.
Annie Zempel obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in English from the University of Wyoming in 2012 and a Master of Arts (M.A.) in English from the University of Wyoming in 2014. Annie also holds a ITIL Foundation Level certification from AXELOS Global Best Practice, obtained in March 2019, as well as a SharePoint Site Owner certification from the United States Air Force.
