Brian Carney

Brian Carney is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in venture capital and investment banking. Since July 2007, Brian has served as a General Partner at Harbert Growth Partners, where strategic leadership in investment initiatives has been pivotal. Prior to this role, Brian worked at Morgan Stanley Venture Partners from 2000 to 2005, initially as an Associate and also contributed to the Healthcare Investment Banking Group as a Financial Analyst. Brian holds an MBA from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business, earned between 2005 and 2007, and a degree from Washington and Lee University, completed in 2000.
