Dan Torrey

Dan Torrey has over two decades of work experience in the software engineering field. In 2018, they began working as a Software Engineer at Graylog, Inc. Prior to that, they worked at ReServe Interactive from 2007-2018, where they held roles as a Software Engineer, Technical Support Services Manager, and Software Support Technician. In this last role, they provided technical support to customers via telephone and remote computer assistance, produced technical manuals for newly developed software, and organized company-wide training presentations. Before ReServe Interactive, Dan worked as a Systems Administrator at Finis Inc from 2000-2007.

Dan Torrey has a BS in Civil Engineering from San Jose State University, where they studied Structural and Water Resources Engineering from 2007 to 2011. Dan also has an AA from Las Positas College in Liberal Arts and Sciences, which they obtained from 2003 to 2005. Additionally, Dan has several certifications, including Network+ from CompTIA (obtained in May 2004), A+ from CompTIA (obtained in April 2001), and Engineer in Training from the California Board for Professional Engineers, Land Surveyors, and Geologists.
