Evan Tepsic has over 15 years of work experience in the technology industry. Evan began their career in 2006 as a Software Engineer at IBM, where they were responsible for designing, testing, implementing and supporting IBM Software Products and/or Systems. Evan was later promoted to Staff Software Engineer, where they had independent decision responsibility and accountability, and had leadership responsibilities. In 2020, they joined Acoustic as a Senior Site Reliability Engineer, Operations Architect and Operations Engineer - Team Lead. In their role as Operations Engineer - Team Lead, they were responsible for software deployment and configuration management in both Production, Quality Assurance, and Sandbox environments via Puppet to both managed data-centers & Amazon AWS. Evan also provided service delivery context and consultation for initiatives owned by Network Infrastructure, Systems and Storage teams. In 2021, they joined Graylog, Inc. as a Senior Performance Engineer.
Evan Tepsic obtained a BS in Computer Engineering Technology from DeVry University between 2002 and 2005. Evan has also obtained certifications from A Cloud Guru (Introduction to Python Development, obtained in April 2022), Linux Academy (Linux Essentials Course, obtained in March 2017), IBM (Hadoop Foundations - Level 1, obtained in January 2017), and Linux Academy (CompTIA Cloud Essentials Certification Course).
