Roland Messmer has over 25 years of work experience in the technology industry. Roland began their career in 1995 as a Systems Engineer for Madge Networks. In 1997 they moved to 3Com as a Sales Manager and Systems Engineer. In 2000 they joined Foundry Networks as a Sales Director for Germany Austria Switzerland and Brocade as a Sales Director. In 2010 they moved to Aruba Networks as a Director for Central and Eastern Europe. In 2014 they joined LogRhythm as Regional Director for Central EMEA. In 2018 they moved to Fidelis Cybersecurity as a Sen. Sales Director for Central Europe. In 2020 they joined SecurityScorecard as a Sen. Sales Director for Central & Eastern Europe. Currently, they are Vice President Central & Eastern Europe at Graylog, Inc.

Roland Messmer attended the Staatliche Technikerschule Tettnang from 1993 to 1995, where they earned a Staatlich gepüfter Datentechniker degree in the field of Datenverarbeitung und Datenverarbeitungstechnologie/Techniker.
