Rishav Guha has a diverse range of work experience in the field of robotics and engineering. Rishav currently works at GrayMatter Robotics as a Senior Robotics Software Engineer since February 2023. Prior to this, they held the position of Robotics Engineer at the same company from April 2021 to February 2023. Rishav also worked as a Robotics Engineer Intern at GrayMatter Robotics from October 2020 to March 2021.
Before joining GrayMatter Robotics, Rishav Guha worked at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). Rishav served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant for the Statics and Strength of Materials course from April 2020 to June 2020. Rishav was also a Research Assistant at the Materials Characterization Laboratory at UCLA from September 2019 to May 2020, where they contributed to a project that is awaiting acceptance for publication in a journal. Additionally, they worked as a Research Assistant at the Bionics Lab at UCLA from September 2019 to May 2020, where they focused on designing a stationary exo-skeleton for assistance to trauma patients. Rishav Guha also participated in the design of a compliant stabilizer for 3D printing in space from January 2020 to March 2020 and designed and programmed a 6 DOF robotic arm called HAGriD from September 2019 to December 2019, both under the guidance of Prof. Dennis Hong.
Prior to their time at UCLA, Rishav Guha worked as part of Team AVERERA at IIT BHU, where they were involved in the design and development of a high-efficiency electric vehicle under the guidance of Prof. A. K. from April 2017 to May 2019.
Rishav Guha also gained valuable experience during a summer internship at the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), where they were part of the Laser Science and Technology Centre. During this internship in May 2018 to July 2018, they designed a pipe flow simulation program using Python and implemented algorithms for steady-state and transient flow.

Rishav Guha has a diverse education history. Rishav obtained a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University), Varanasi, starting in 2015 and graduating in 2019. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering at UCLA from 2019 to 2021.

Additional certifications earned by Rishav include "Geometric Dimensioning & Toleranceing (GD&T): Basics" from Udemy in August 2020. Rishav has also completed several certifications related to robotics, such as "PLC Programming from Scratch (PLC I)," "PLC Step By Step: Your Complete Guide," and "ROS Basics: Program Robots!" from Udemy, all obtained in July 2020.
