Frederic Vitse is a seasoned engineering professional specializing in decarbonization and carbon capture technologies. Currently serving as Manager of Decarbonization Engineering at Graymont since July 2021, Frederic leads efforts to enhance the sustainability of lime kiln operations. Prior experience includes a role as Consulting Engineer at GE, where Frederic contributed to the development of clean combustion and advanced coal combustion technologies with integrated carbon capture. At Alstom Power, Frederic held multiple positions, including Program Management for Carbon Capture and Utilization, and was responsible for technology development and process modeling. Frederic's early career features roles as Lead Research Engineer at General Electric and Postdoctoral Research Associate at Ohio University, along with foundational research experience at TOTAL. Frederic holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Ohio University and degrees from Technische Universität Berlin and Ecole Nationale Superieure en Genie des Technologies Industrielles.
