Ian Oppy

Ian Oppy is a Senior Geologist/Hydrogeologist at Graymont, with extensive experience in geology, hydrogeology, and environmental science across mining and agricultural sectors for both private companies and government agencies. Previously, they held senior roles at Sibelco Australia & New Zealand and Goulburn-Murray Water, contributing to various projects throughout Australia and internationally. Ian has developed proficiency in multiple geological and groundwater modeling software and has been involved in significant groundwater management and environmental initiatives. They hold an MSc in Hydrogeology & Environmental Science and a BSc Hons in Geology from the University of Melbourne, further solidifying their expertise in the field.
