Louis Hsu has a wide range of experience in the investment industry. Louis is currently working as the VP of ETFs at Grayscale Investments since October 2021. Prior to that, they served as a Portfolio Manager at Silicon Valley Bank from December 2020 to September 2021.

From 2017 to 2020, Louis worked at Franklin Templeton as a VP and ETF Portfolio Manager. In this role, they were responsible for managing a portfolio of 50 ETFs across global markets, utilizing smart beta and passive strategies.

Before joining Franklin Templeton, Louis had a long tenure at BlackRock, where they held various positions. Louis served as the VP of Portfolio Manager for Multi-Asset Strategies from January 2016 to August 2017. Prior to that, they held the role of VP, Strategist & Business Manager for APAC Alpha Strategies from March 2015 to December 2016. Louis also worked as the VP of Portfolio Manager for Beta Strategies from July 2011 to February 2015.

Louis started their career as a Consultant at Global Index Group in 2010 and later moved on to become a Hedge Fund Research Analyst at Summit Strategies Group from August 2008 to February 2010. Louis also gained experience as a Fixed Income Trading Desk Intern at NISA Investment Advisors, LLC from June 2008 to August 2008.

Louis Hsu, CFA, CFP, CAIA, FRM completed their education at various institutions. Louis obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Finance from the Olin Business School at Washington University in St. Louis in 2008. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering at Washington University in St. Louis in 2007. Louis also holds a High School Diploma from St. George's School, which they acquired in 2003, and attended Eaglebrook School from 1998 to 2000. In addition to their education, Louis has obtained various certifications, including the DACFP Certificate in Blockchain and Digital Assets from the Digital Assets Council of Financial Professionals. Louis is also a certified Alternative Investment Analyst Charter (CAIA Charter), a Certified Financial Planner (CFP), a Certified Financial Risk Manager (FRM), and a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA). Furthermore, they have obtained the Series 63 and Series 7 certifications from FINRA.
