Ryan J. Wise

Ryan J. Wise, M.D. is a board-certified ophthalmologist and partner/owner at Graystone Eye since July 2018, specializing in glaucoma, cataract, and anterior segment surgery. Prior experience includes serving as a surgical glaucoma fellow and junior faculty at the Indiana University School of Medicine from July 2013 to June 2018, as well as completing an ophthalmology residency at the same institution under the leadership of Louis B. Cantor, M.D. An early career stint as a research fellow in oculoplastic surgery at the University of Iowa College of Medicine preceded this, while an initial role as a network engineer at UUNET forms part of a diverse background. Dr. Wise earned an MD from the University of Iowa in 2013 and holds dual bachelor's degrees in molecular biology and chemistry from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
