Michael Beaty, PE PTOE CFM, currently serves as the Bridge Team Director for Great River Engineering since June 2017, contributing extensive expertise in transportation and civil engineering. Previous roles include Development Review Manager for the City of Stillwater, where responsibilities involved coordinating engineering reviews, and President of Beaty Consulting Engineers, a firm founded in 2009. Michael has also imparted knowledge as an Adjunct Professor of Civil Engineering at Missouri State University, where Fluid Mechanics was taught. Additional experience encompasses leadership positions in civil engineering firms such as Mettemeyer Engineering, Ozark Mountain Consulting Engineers, and Butler Rosenbury & Partners, as well as a foundational role as Project Manager/Engineer at Archer Engineers and Assistant City Engineer for the City of Blue Springs. Michael holds a Master of Science degree in Civil Engineering from The University of Kansas, earned between 1984 and 1996.
