Joseph Sopko

Joseph Sopko has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Joseph began their career in 2006 as a Data Process Administrator at Fragomen, Del Rey, Bernsen & Loewy, where they played a crucial role in scanning, uploading, and auditing I-9 forms. In 2007, they joined Bridge Terminal Transport as an Assistant Fleet Manager, overseeing a fleet of Owner/Operators and ensuring regulatory and safety compliance. Joseph also worked as a Safety Specialist at the same company, where they signed on new drivers, audited driver logs, and maintained inspection files. In 2011, Joseph joined Greater Cleveland RTA, where they held various positions. As a Risk Analyst II, they were responsible for the development, maintenance, and enhancement of the GCRTA Risk Management System. Joseph also acted as a liaison with system vendors and government agencies. In their role as a Business Analyst, Joseph managed and administered analytical and managerial applications, collaborated with various departments, and led performance management and reporting activities. Currently, they serve as the Assistant Transportation Manager at Greater Cleveland RTA.

Joseph Sopko completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Planned Studies at Ithaca College from 1997 to 2002. Additionally, they obtained several certifications, including "Outlook 2016 Essential Training" and "Outlook 2016: Time Management with Calendar and Tasks" from LinkedIn in December 2020. In May 2014, they completed "An Introduction to Marketing" and in April 2014, they completed "An Introduction to Operations Management" at The Wharton School. Joseph also acquired certifications in "An Introduction to Corporate Finance" and "An Introduction to Financial Accounting" from The Wharton School in October 2013. Furthermore, they completed the "Public Transit Management Academy" at Cleveland State University in December 2012.
