Green Bean Grove is a Huntsville-based nutrition practice and community health initiative led by registered dietitian Leslie Johnson, MS, RD, LD. Our work is rooted in the belief that food is medicine — a powerful tool to prevent and manage chronic disease, improve quality of life, and strengthen communities.

What we do:

Nutrition Counseling & Medical Nutrition Therapy — one-on-one care with a sliding fee scale to ensure access for individuals and families

Diabetes Support & Education — helping people living with diabetes feel confident managing their health with food and lifestyle strategies

Food is Medicine Programming — building partnerships with healthcare providers, nonprofits, and community organizations to connect people with nutritious foods and the education to use them

Community Classes & Presentations — practical, engaging workshops tailored to local groups, schools, and workplaces

Workplace Wellness Consulting — improving employee well-being through nutrition-based programs and strategy

Our mission is to bridge nutrition care and food access, creating sustainable solutions that make healthy eating possible for everyone.
